Short Term Accommodation (STA)(including Respite)
Our short term accommodation (STA) (including respite care) provides high quality care where NDIS Participants are safe and secure. We aim to create a home away from home from the moment Participants join us, with them engaging in activities that are most important to them. It is also a great opportunity for Participants meet new people and try new activities.
Our NDIS accommodation options are located in the leafy outer South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, close to shops, parks and transport. This includes the suburbs of Clyde North, Cranbourne, Lynbrook, Narre Warren and Noble Park. All our NDIS accommodation options are spacious with large living areas and great outdoor areas. These spaces are ideal for when friends or family visit.
We provide Integrated support for self-care, accommodation, food and activities in a group residence for short periods. Our fees include all expenses in a 24 hour period.
Features of our NDIS Short Term Accommodation (STA) include:
Support Staff

All our Carers are highly trained to ensure Participants receive the personalised care they need. Our Carer-to-Participant ratio depends on the needs of each Participant. We also have a Carer available overnight. You can be assured that we take Participant confidentiality very seriously, which is why we have implemented procedures to safeguard your privacy.
We pride ourselves on only employing highly qualified staff, trained to work with children and youth with challenging behaviours. Our staff have also undergone Police checks and Working with Children checks.

Community Participation

We want to make a Participant’s stay with us as enjoyable as possible. This means our activities are tailored to what they enjoy. This could include going shopping, seeing a movie, visiting a park, or even playing a sport.
Spacious and Private Accommodation
For all of our Participants, privacy is a priority. That is why none of our Participants share rooms – each has their own private single room. All our NDIS accommodation options have at least five bedrooms, some with ensuites.
However, it is also important to have spacious living areas—especially if friends or family visit. That is why our NDIS accommodation options feature at least two living rooms and spacious gardens.

Flexibility

We understand that each Participant is different. That’s why our care is led by their choices, needs and goals. We actively promote independence in a safe and non-discriminative environment in all our NDIS accommodation options
The length of our stays can vary from overnight, weekends or even holidays. What a Participant is entitled to when it comes to short term accommodation is listed in their NDIS plan
