Specialised Disability Accommodation (SDA)
Perfect Care is a registered NDIS Provider of Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA). Participants who are eligible for SDA receive funding for their accommodation as part of their NDIS plan. The overall aim of SDA is to provide Participants with more choices when it comes to their housing options, including where they live and who they live with.
SDA is specialised housing designed to support people with extreme functional impairment or very high support needs. SDA was developed because some people with very high needs require special disability accommodation to receive the support they need in their home.
Every SDA property has specific features, so Participants need to check what features they require before looking for accommodation. Some features of SDA may include bathroom vanities and kitchen sinks that are accessible from a sitting or standing position. It may also include safeguards throughout the property for residents with complex behaviour issues.. Additionally, all external doors and areas may be accessible by wheelchair where required. The overriding design and features of SDA aim to enable residents to enjoy their home environment as much as possible.
The overall purpose of SDA is to provide an appropriate environment for residents to reach their goals, maximise their independence, and increase social and community participation.

Support Staff

Our carers are specifically trained to provide personalised support tailored to the needs of each NDIS participant. The carer to participant ratio is specific to the needs of each resident. We also offer overnight care for added peace of mind. Protecting your privacy is one of our top priorities, and we have strict protocols in place to ensure confidentiality.
We take pride in hiring only highly skilled staff, specifically trained to assist children and young people with challenging behaviours. Additionally, all team members undergo both Police Checks and Working with Children checks to maintain safety and trust.
Community Participation

We want to make a Participant’s stay with us as enjoyable as possible. This means our activities are tailored to what they enjoy. Whether they prefer shopping, watching movies, visiting parks, or engaging in sports, we create experiences tailored to what they love.
Spacious and Private Accommodation
​
For all of our Participants, privacy is one of our top priorities. That is why none of our Participants share rooms. Instead each has their own private single room. All our NDIS accommodation options have at least five bedrooms, some with ensuites.
However, it is also important to have spacious living areas.. This is especially important when friends or family visit. That is why our NDIS accommodation options feature at least two living rooms and spacious gardens.
